In order to start accepting direct bookings from Messenger, follow the below steps.
  1. If you have multiple properties listed on bookusdirect, skip points 1 and 2 and simply copy the multi-property URL you have received by email. It should look like this
  2. From your Dashboard, head over to Marketing Hub, then click "view" Distribution channels
  3. Scroll down to the area mentioning "Get direct bookings from Messenger" and copy the URL. This URL is unique to your property and Messenger
  4. Open your property's Facebook page as the administrator
  5. Click on the go to business suite button in order to access your Facebook Business Page

  6. From your Facebook Business Page hit the inbox tab on the left
  7. Then hit the automated responses button in the top right
  8. Now make sure you enable frequently asked questions from the share and get information category on the right
  9. Hit the edit message blue button
  10. Hit add a question from the questions and responses box
  11. Add a question such as: "Can I book directly with you to save on service fees?"
  12. Add an automated response such as: "Yes you can! Hit the button below to book direct and save on service fees."

  13. Now hit add a button, give your button a label such as "Book Now" and in the website URL section paste the Messenger URL you have copied from your dashboard
  14. You can add up to 4 questions by repeating the above steps
Now when guests come to message you through Messenger they will be prompted with questions and can get an automated response to these questions without you having to do anything!
